Interested in being a part of MARD? Whether you want to skate, ref, or volunteer we welcome you to swing by one of our “meet and greets” which take place on the last Saturday of every month at Silver City Sports Complex from 7:30 – 10:00 PM. Then, take part in our open recruit practice on the first Monday of every month!

Referees and Non Skating Officials (NSOs) are a big part of roller derby! Referees and NSOs make sure the rules are followed and our skaters, fans, and volunteers are safe! We are currently recruiting and training referees and NSOs! No experience is required, we will train you!

Each skater is assessed on the minimum skills as provided by WFTDA (sections 1-3).
If you do not have the minimum skills as described in the link above, don’t despair! You can work on your skills at open skates with roller girls. Please fill out this form if you would like to meet with a roller girl at an open skate. We can help determine your skill level, and help you achieve the minimum skills as set forth by WFTDA.
